The Fresno Poets' Association and Fresno State MFA program
in Creative writing are sponsoring this event, where Bedikian
will read from her manuscript "The Book of Lamenting."
The book of poems reflects her inherited memory and experience
where family becomes a country. Each poem brims with darkness
and light that reflect personal and cultural tensions.
